DUT1

DUT1 is, in measurement of the Temps, the difference between the universal Time UT1 (which corresponds to the rotation of the Earth) and the universal Time coordinated UTC (which corresponds, with a number of second entirety close, with the international atomic Time TAI):

DUT1 = UT1 - UTC

DUT1 is maintained in the interval -0,9 S < DUT1 < +0,9 S via second guides which are added episodically to UTC. The values of DUT1 are published by IERS. Its current value (June 2007) is -0,2 S.

DUT1 evolves/moves with the wire of time, owing to the fact that the rotation of the Earth is not constant, following the influence of the lunar Marée S, the earthquakes unexplained, and other phenomena.
