DShK
The DShK 1938 ( ДШК , for ДегтярёваШпагинаКрупнокалиберный, Degtyaryova Shpagina Krupnokalibernyy, “Degtyarev-Shpagin Large-gauges”) was an anti-aircraft Soviet heavy machine gun drawing from the cartridges 12.7 X 107 mm Soviet, also used some times like heavy machine gun for the infantry. She was mainly used during the Second world war.
She draws her name from her originators Vasily Degtyarev, which designed the original weapon (in 1935), and Georgi Shpagin, which improved the mechanism of food (in 1938), modifying the weapon so that she can receive metal coils of 50 balls (instead of 30 for the original weapon.).
She is sometimes called Dushka , because of sound the abbreviation.
