DBDesigner

DBDesigner is a system of a conception of Database in graphic form which integrates all the levels of design, modification, creation and maintenance on the structure of a database. It combines a very convivial interface with powerful tools which make it possible to generate quickly scripts SQL or XML to create the conceived bases or allows the Reverse engineering on existing bases to extract the structure from it and to give a graphic interpretation of it. Y are also integrated Plugin making it possible to generate carryforwards of structures of the bases, as well as a mini application in of visualization/modification based on sights of the base (views).

From its capacities, it is thus comparable with applications such as Oracle' S Designer , IBM' S Rational Pink or TheKompany' S DataArchitect , with this close which it is about a project Open Source which functions on many systems. It is distributed under the License LPG.

DBDesigner was developed and optimized to be used free with relational DBMS MySQL, him so available, to make it possible all to develop powerful databases with powerful tools.

The originator of DBDesigner, Michael G. Zinner, having integrated the company MySQL AB, the successor of DBDesigner, MySQL Workbench, is under development.
