DACAAR
DACAAR means in English Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees. DACAAR is a Danish Governmental organization based with Kabul in Afghanistan. DACAAR was founded in 1984 and works with the improvement of the living conditions of the Afghans mainly (but not only) in rural areas.
In term of employees this ONG is one of most important country. In more half of the Afghan provinces, it continues several programs, of which a program water and cleansing which allowed the realization and the installation of several thousands of well and hand pumps. Its expertise in the field of the manufacture of the hand pumps and the management of the water points is recognized internationally.
DACAAR works with various financial backers and partners, of which Danida, ECHO and the Ministry for the Rehabilitation and Rural development.
