Déné Issébéré

Déné Issébéré is a singer Auteur-compositeur-interprète Mali enne born the June 19th 1980 in Mali. She belongs to the ethnos group Dogon.

Biography

Girl of Hamadoun Ibrahima Issébéré, poet preceded Malian, in France, in 1978, with the Grand Prix of the ACCT, for its work “cuttings of the sun”, and of Diahara Tanager actress and teaching. Very young person, it follows her father posts some abroad and during 14 years, it impregnates various musical cultures met.

On its return to Bamako, Issébéré chooses to launch out in a career of singer. With its first compositions it takes part in several musical events in Mali. Following a service during a concert, the group of Rap " King Da Dja" product by Salif Keïta calls upon it for the recording of the album " Tougna". Eric Bono the sound engineer of Salif Keïta, called upon its services for the realization of other albums (traditional and modern) of which the version Malian of the anthem to the world cup of Youssou Dour with Rokia Traoré and Afel Bocoum.

She will be also requested by the " Escrocs" for the recording of their album " Kokadjè" what will lead it to meet and to work with the player Malian of Kora: Toumani Diabaté then the player of Balaphon Néba Solo on its album “Edge 2002”. After obtaining its baccalaureat, it decides to record in solo and sign at Mali K7.

Its first album, “Ogopo” (safety with the chief in dogon), is an immediate popular success. In 3 years, it connects collaborations and takes part in the realization of more than 20 albums left on the international market Malian and 3 albums (Frederic Galliano, Toma Sidibé and Iso Bagayoko). It carries out a passage to Midem, in Womex, a European round with Iso Bagayoko and a French round with Lobi Traoré. Issébéré decides to launch out in 2004, after a formation with the techniques of song to France, in the writing and the preparation of its new album.

The development of this second album begins, at the end of 2004, between the repetitions with its musicians and work in studio OSC of Bamako or arrangements are completed by Olivier Kaba. The player of goni Bassékou Kouyaté and maestro Malian Sheik Tidiane Seck take part in the album.
