  • November 6th: Attacks of two Soukhoï Known-25 of the army of Ivory Coast about the college of Bouaké as a basis being used for the French Army causing 10 dead (9 soldiers and an American civilian), 38 wounded of which some seriously. The French retort by destroying the air forces and anti-aircraft army of the Ivory Coast. The tension goes up, and several thousands of foreign residents again are evacuated.

  • December 12th: The Egyptian public discovers a movement of opposition not-monk, Kifāya , five months after its creation, at the time of a public demonstration to the Cairo.

  • June 30th: The Sonde Cassini-Huygens crosses the rings of Saturn and sends the first images of them.
  • October 24th: The Brazil new space power after the success of its first space launching.
  • November 7th: Discovered of a Asteroid, baptized 2004 VD17, being 500 meters long and weighing a billion tons, likely to enter in collision with the Ground at the beginning of the next century (the May 4th 2102, according to calculations of the scientists!), by causing massive destruction. Its impact would unchain 10.000 megatons of energy, that is to say the equivalent of the explosion of all the nuclear weapons of planet. The scientists however calculated that this ric was weak, about one on thousand.
