Décotée debt

A décotée debt is a Dette downgraded by the credit rating agencies. A décotée debt has a yield higher than that of the Government loan (of more than 10%), remunerating the very high risk which is associated for him.

The hedge funds buy the " distressed debt" on a market weighing 0,68% of the total of the loans with " high rendement" in Europe (for 1,95% in the United States).
