Débrouillards

Débrouillards is initially a Magazine of Science for the young people from 9 to 13 years. Born with the Quebec under the name small the débrouillards , it bears the name Débrouillards since the turning of the years 1990. Today published 10 times per year, it generated books, CD, a Web site and a television program. He celebrated his 25e birthday in 2007.

It is the only magazine of scientific Popularization in Quebec for this age bracket. It generated a magazine for the 6-9 years, the Explorers .

As of the years 1980, the magazine had also generated associations and clubs which, through scientific experiments for children, of animations in the schools and the camps of summer, initiate today still the young people with science. In France, the movement preserved the old name of " small the débrouillards " and published books under this title.

It is Felix Maltais which founded in 1982 what was not whereas a small black and white bulletin. Felix Maltais was then director of the Agence Science-Press and it is under its wing that the bulletin became magazine and generated all its small. In 2007, Felix Maltais is always the editor of the magazine. The editor association is Isabelle Vaillancourt.

" Débrouillards" also was, in Quebec, the name of a popular television program diffused of 1990 with 1995, of 1996 with 1997 and of 1998 with 2003 respectively on Radio-Canada, Canal Family, today VRAK.TV, TV5, TV-Quebec and on TFO. Animated by Grégory Charles and Marie-Sun Tougas of 1990 with 1995 and of 1996 with 1997, it touched with science under all its aspects. After the death of Marie-Sun Tougas, since March 1998, Grégory Charles animated only.
