Dája Bedáňová

Dája Bedáňová (born Daniela Bedáňová the March 9th 1983 with Ostrava) is a player of Czech Tennis , Professionnel of 2000 with 2005.

In 2001, it played the quarterfinals to the US Open: it is beaten by number 1 world of the moment, Martina Hingis, not without to have eliminated Monica Seles (8th) with the preceding turn. It is about its best performance into simple in a test of the Grand Slam.

After a fast and regular rise until in 2002, Dája Bedáňová is victim of wounds with repetition (in particular with the Tendon of Achilles) which finally force it to take its sporting retirement in 2005, at only 22 years.

During its career, it gained 2 titles WTA (1 into simple, 1 in double).
