Helen Fielding (born the February 19th 1958 with Morley, West Yorkshire) is a writer English, known as an author of the novel the Newspaper of Bridget Jones and its continuation Bridget Jones: The Age of Enlightenment .
The novels of Bridget Jones are initially published in the columns of the newspapers The Independent and The Daily Telegraph in 1997 and 1998. In August 2005, its column weekly is reintroduced in The Independent . A third novel putting in scene the character of Bridget Jones, resulting from these columns, should be published in 2007.
Its fourth novel, Olivia Joules or hyperactive Imagination are published in 2004, it acts of a parody of the spy novels.
Fielding is graduate St Anne' S College of the Université of Oxford, has an English diploma and worked in televisual journalism during a few years before writing its first novel, Cause Celeb . It was during a time the boyfriend of the scenario writer Richard Curtis, who wrote inter alia Four marriages and a burial , Love at first sight in Notting Hill and the television series Blackadder, the black viper .
In February 2004, it gives birth to its first wire, Dashiell Michael, of which the father is Kevin Curran, scenario writer of the television series Simpson . Their second child, a girl, was born the July 16th 2006.
