Cytophaga

The kind Cytophaga gathers Bactérie S in the shape of stick, with coloring of negative Gram, aerobic strict or aéro-anaerobe optional.

The Cytophaga are common bacteria in the ground, the fresh water and navy, the waste water, the organic matters in decomposition, the animal manure. They are able to degrade a great number of organic molecules (Protéine S, Polysaccharide S, Cellulose, Chitine, Amidon…) and a very important bacterial group implied in the aerobic transformation of the organic matter represents.
