Cyrille Munaro

Cyrille Munaro is a young draftsman of Cartoons, Illustrateur, designer and Caricaturiste. Its principal influences are Jack Kirby, André Franquin, Klaus Janson, Go Nagaï, Frank Miller, Jacovitti…

In the Years 1990, it writes and draws parodies of Japanese series. In 2000, it carries out illustrations and short accounts with the style very cartoony published by Semic in their collection pocket (Blek, Zembla, Rodéo, Yuma and Fantask). He officiates now on strips with corrosive humor published by Semic and Delcourt like on the sites France Comics and SuperPouvoir. He also colorisé of the pine-ups in the album Wildguard published by Bamboo as well as covers of the magazine Scarce . The first album of its heroes " Cock-Man and Poussin " was published by SuperPouvoir in 2006. It also carried out three court-measurings (of which " the Declaration " , rewarded by the price for the public for the festival Festimage in 2001) and a medium-length film for action in homage to Bruce Lee entitled " Kill Cyril: The Range off Death 2004 ". In 2006, it integrated the studio Makma founded by ED Tourriol.

  • 2005 to 2007: " Fazom Strip from of water-delà" , strips parodic colors published in Aspen Comics at Delcourt (since the n°2).

  • 2006 : " Cock-Man & Poussin" (46 pages + double cover, black and white, scenario and drawing. Published by SuperPouvoir.

  • 2006 : " Ruelle" (5 pages, N&B), action, published in Scarce n°68.

  • 2005: " Watchtrip" (3 pages, N&B), parody published in " The assumption of the lézard" at the Electric Sheep editors.

  • 2004-2005: " Ultimate France Trip" Comics; and " Supreme Super Strip" , a score of strips humorous colors realized for the sites France Comics and SuperPouvoir.

  • 2004 "JLAvengers" , ten strips humorous color published in the DC/Semic reviews.

  • 2003-2004: " Pyjaman" and " Small Zembla" (4 and 1 pages, N&B) published in Yuma n°10.

  • " Young Zembla" (5 pages, N&B) published in " Special Zembla n°172
  • " Zembla Beyond" (15 pages, N&B) published in Special Zembla n°174.
  • " In the Jungle… " (5 pages, N&B) published in Special Zembla n°175.
  • " Maths-Man" (3pages, N&B) published in Special Zembla n°175.
