Cyril Abidi
Cyril Abidi is a French combatant born on February 25th, 1976. It measures 1 m 90 per 100 kg.
Primarily a practitioner of kick-boxing, Cyril Abidi also boxed into English among amateurs. He even tested himself with the free combat at the time of evenings multidisciplines in Japan vis-a-vis Don Frye and Bobby Ologun but these meetings was balanced for him by defeats.
Cyril Abidi makes its appearance in K-1 on June 5th, 1999 when it beats Switzerland Petar Majstorovic by decision. July 7th, 2000, Abidi strikes a great blow by putting KB at the 1st round Peter Aerts. By twice it reached the final of a K-1 tournament, first of all in 2000 in Yokohama in Japan where it beats Peter Aerts (for the 2nd time), then Ray Sefo before inclining itself in front of Francisco Filho, then in 2003 in Paris-Bercy where it triumphs over Aziz Khattou, Chalid Arrab to fail finally vis-a-vis the Belorusse Alexey Ignashov. It is at the time of this evening that a dispute opposed it to its compatriot Jerome Banner, incident which made the round the world tour of planet of the sports of combat.
