The cyan (of the Greek κυανός , kuanos, namely the Azurite) is a pure Couleur of the light wavelength 500 Nm. It is often called light blue or blue sky. It is a mixture of lights Bleu E and Vert E. The cyan is the complement red : the Pigment S cyans absorb the red light and diffuse the lights green and blue.
The cyan is a basic color for the subtractive Synthèse used in Imprimerie.
