Cutty Sark (DLR)
Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich (pronounce saːk) is an underground station of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), one of the networks of the Métro of London. It is the first station of network DLR on Right Bank of the the Thames after the train crossed is of City and the district of businesses of Millwill.
Structure
In the room of reception of this station part of the machine was exposed which bored the tunnel under the the Thames during the extension of the southern branch of the DLR.
Tourism
The station serves “Maritime Greenwich” which is the part of the town of Greenwich classified with the world heritage of UNESCO. This zone includes/understands, among the most famous places: the royal Observatory of Greenwich, the royal park of Greenwich, the Cutty Sark sailing ship in Cale dries, the maritime National museum.
