Cutting up
Within the framework of the lithic study of the industries S, prehistoric or not, the term cutting up indicates an operation of size which consists in detaching from the glares in the broad sense (glares, blades or plates) at the expense of a block of matter called Nucléus . The glares are the required products here and the nucleus is a by-product.
