Cut Jean-Marie-Louis

Jean-Marie-Louis Coupé is an abbot and French writer, born with Péronne the October 18th 1732, died in Paris the May 10th 1818.

He professed the Rhétorique with the Collège of Navarre, then was named royal critic and conservative with the Library of the King.

He translated the Théâtre Sénèque, 1795, and published under the title of literary Soirées (1795 - 1801) a collection in 20 volumes which contains translations of Hésiode, of Théognis, Phocylide, Alcée, Alcman, etc
