Cut Europe of the nations of athletics 1975

The 5th Coupe of Europe of the nations of athletics is held the 16 and August 17th 1975 with Nice in France.

East Germany is essential in the 2 tests male and female, even if the Cut is very disputed, until the last tests.

The most disputed final is the 100 m where the judges spend 24 hours (!) to decide between with the Photo finish Valeriy Borzov and Pietro Mennea (10" 40 both).

The three semi-finals, qualificative for the final (the first two teams), proceeded the 12 and July 13rd 1975 with Turin, London and Leipzig.

Preliminary round

Two preliminary rounds were necessary the 14 and June 15th 1975, with Lisbon, the other with Athens. The first three teams are qualified for the semi-finals.
