Customs
The Administration of the customs is tax authorities in charge of the collection of the duties and taxation due to the entry of the goods of the national territory. In France it is called Head office of the customs and rights indirect (DGDDI), and it depends from now on Ministère on the Budget, Public accounts and Public office, as well as DGI or DGCP.
The customs ensure of the missions tax and economic vocation.
It is thus at the same time in charge of the perception of the customs receipts and the monitoring of the foreign trade by the statistical data which it delivers and of their promotion by inciting measurements of assistance to the Entreprise S exporting and importing of goods or services.
Its activity is regulated by the national right, but also by international agreements (OMC, treated free trade, etc).
It can also have, inter alia attributions, of competences as regards protection of the people and the goods in particular in the fields of the Public health, of the Consommation, the Environnement and public safety.
