Curicó

Curicó is a commune and city of the Chile, chief town of the province of the same name, in the area of Maule.

In 2005 it counted 120.113 inhabitants.

Geography

The capital is Curicó , it is located at the edge of Río Guaiquillo, with the lat. 34 58 ' long S. 71° 19 ' W.. It is located at 189 kilometers in the south of Santiago by the train, and 185 kilometers by the Pan-American Highway. The city is located on the central valley at 250 meters of altitude.
