Cultural institute of Brittany

The cultural Institut of Brittany is an association created in 1982, which is the emanation of the Breton cultural Charte. Its mission is to coordinate the development, the diffusion and the promotion of the Breton culture. It receives financings of the District council of Brittany and departments Breton. In 1988, the Institute and CELIB revival decorations of the Order of Hermine.

The Office of the Breton language, creates on May 1st 1999, takes the continuation of the Service of the Breton language which existed within the cultural Institute of Brittany ( Skol uhel rear Vro ). Historical association Dalc' homp Soñj is related to the Institute.

Relations with the District council

Since the arrival of the left to the head of the Area, it is Jean-Yves Le Drian which is as a president.
