CUEJ ( University center of teaching of the journalism of Strasbourg ) is a school of journalism French based in Strasbourg and recognized by the profession.

Presentation
The CUEJ appears, with ESJ, CFJ and CELSA, among the four schools of journalism best classified France. The school, integrated into the university Robert Schuman, is the first to have proposed a vocational training of great quality to the university tariff. Thus opened with all. Created in 1958, the CUEJ was recognized by the collective agreement of the journalists in 1968.
The entry takes place on contest. One enters there in Bac+3. Each year it are nearly 650 students who postulate for forty places available. Since reform LMD the formation is a master in two years.
Lesson
The first year general practitioner mixes TV, radio and written press with the masterly matters (right, economy…).
European Union
The CUEJ knew to benefit from the European image of the Alsatian capital. Each month, the students cover the Parliamentary session Eurodéputés. Hour per hour the European topicality is on line on the MCSinfo site. The pupils are carried out in their European teaching by
Xavier Delcourt. The CUEJ had set up in 1991 one OF Eurojournalisme to train specialists in
" the cover of the European Union, in its Community and intergovernmental dimensions as in its national repercussions and locales" . Franco-German Master
Part of the pupils of promotions of first and second year takes part in Master of Franco-German journalism. The pupils take part in the courses of the school of journalism of Freiburg and conversely.
Production
The students of the CUEJ carry out two newspapers sold in kiosk with
Strasbourg: Viva Quoted and News d' Ill. It carry out also a radio broadcast for
France Blue Alsace: Faxo.
Delocalization
Each year the pupils of second year carry out a delocalization. In the skin true reporters, they leave for one duration one month abroad. For a few years the delocalizations have taken place in Shanghai.
Specialization
The second year, the student postulates is with the speciality TV, radio or written press.
Television
A formation to become writer or journalizes to defer images.
The formation JRI (journalist to defer image) CUEJ is the only one of France to being free. It is held in the fourth six-month period for the selected pupils.
Radio
Students of Strasbourg animate Faxo, an emission which speaks about actu, of policy, the life coed, the local concerts, etc will discover there You reports, interviews, the guests, etc

During the third six-month period, the students of second year must choose an option between Franco-German relations,
European Union or town planning. This work leads to a file carried out on the ground (
