The cuban peso (ISO 4217 code: CUP, called " sometimes; peso national") is one of the two official currencies of Cuba, the other being the convertible cuban Peso. This currency does not have an official value outside the territory cubain.
Peso (CUP) is used by the tourists only for the purchase of the goods of first need and the products of everyday usage. The wages of the cuban citizens, all civils servant, are generally versed in pesos cuban not-convertible whereas their expenditure day laborers is to be regulated in CUC. of or a black-market in very important CUC. ----
