Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo (born the January 17th 1973 in Tepito, Mexico City) is a Football Mexican or playing for the Club América.

History

It tried several experiments in other clubs, of which one in Spain with the Real Valladolid, but those Ci appeared all unfruitful. There remains however a “character” of Mexicain football, famous as well on the ground for its technical epic, as outwards for its many escapades.

Blanco took part in two World cups, France 1998 like Korea-Japan 2002. Mexico was left in eighth finale in these two competitions. It also gained the Coupe of the Confederations disputed in Mexico in 1999, as well as the Gold Cups 1996 and 1998.

It was not retained for the World cup Germany 2006, because of its many disputes with the selector Ricardo Lavolpe. This disillusion could start the end of its career well, Cuauhtémoc being disputed by its trainer with the Club América. There remains however one of the best Mexican footballers of the history and an idol for the supporters.
