The crystallization is a concept invented by the French writer Stendhal and which according to him describes the process by which an individual falls in love.

Stendhal defines it as follows: What I call crystallization, it is the operation of the spirit, which draws from all that presents the discovery that the liked object has of new perfections . Of the love (1822)

In the feelings in love, crystallization can thus indicate a love at first sight. It can be momentary.
