Cryolophosaurus ellioti

Cryolophosaurus ellioti : carnivorous Dinosaur discovered in the Antarctic and named in 1994.

The holotype is founded on a partial Squelette (bone of the basin, Fémur, tibia, Métatarse S, Vertèbre S, etc), of which it misses mainly the former part. It is characterized by the presence of a peak present on cranium bent backwards. The adult animal is estimated at 8m length and he would have lived there are 190 - 185 million years approximately.

Belonging to the dinosaurs Théropode S (group including/understanding carnivorous dinosaurs especially), it is classified by certain scientists in the family of the Sinraptoridé S, whose majority of the parents were identified in Asia. ----
