Crozatier museum at the Puy-en-Velay

Located at the bottom of the Henri-Vinay garden (known as “horseshoe” because of its form), the museum Crozatier was inaugurated in 1868. It was built by the architect Antoine Martin thanks to the generosity of the sculptor-founder Charles Crozatier.

A very beautiful sight on the upper town can be observed at the top of the steps at the entry of the museum.

The very great richness and diversity of the collections of the museum (painting, sculpture, prehistory, natural science, geology, mechanics, lace, regional arts) allow an exceptional discovery of the history of the Velay and Haute-Loire.
