Crow of Berghes

Crow of Berghes in?? - Died in [[1560]] - Prince-bishop of Liege of March 18th, 1538 at 1544.

Biography

Initially provost of Saint-Pierre with Lille, it remained then at the court of Marguerite of Austria. He became Coadjuteur at the episcopal court of Liege in 1520. He was imposed by Charles Quint. Its reign was deplorable for the Principauté of Liege. If he were not a good prince-bishop, he drove out in any case the heresy with the same force as his predecessor. He resigned in 1544, determined to marry. He would have died about 1560, there is very little trace of him after his resignation.
