Croulebarbe
The district Croulebarbe is a Parisian district in the North-West of the 13 {{E}} district. It is delimited in the south by the Boulevard Auguste-Blanqui, in the west by the Rue of Health, in north by the Boulevard of Port-Royal and in the east by the Avenue of the Goblins. The name Croulebarbe would be that of a rich person family having lived in this district. In 2005, the district has a population estimated at 20.050 inhabitants.
Particular sites
- With number 33 of Street Croulebarbe, finds Tower Albert (name of the architect which built it), the first tower of dwelling built in Paris. It is classified Historic building. This tower comprises 21 stages of which sixth was built larger because the architect had envisaged to install a footbridge there connecting the tower to the Avenue of the Sister-Rosalie. The project was not finally carried out.
