Finale

It was the first edition whose finale took place with the Stade de France in front of: 77700 spectators. The match was completed on a score of equality 2 - 2 and the two formations had to be decided between with the shootings with the goal. At the end of 90 minutes of play, the score was of 1 everywhere with goals registered by Johan Micoud with the 30e minute for the Of Gironde ones and to the answer came to the 74e minute via Marco Simone.

During the prolongations, the Parisian ones strike in first, via Raí (107e minute). It is Jean-Pierre Papin which sends the two teams to the shootings with the goal with the 115e on a frank Coup.

At the end of the shootings to the goal, the Paris Saint-Germain beats the Of Gironde ones on the score of 4 shootings to 2. It is the second consecutive defeat of Of Gironde finally and with the shootings with the goal.
