The town of Criuleni is the capital of the administrative area of Criuleni ( Raionul Criuleni in Rumanian) located in Republic of Moldavie at forty kilometers at the North-East of Chişinău, the national capital.

The town of Criuleni is located along the river " Dniestr " (“Nistru” in Rumanian) at the border of the territory secessionist autoproclamé of Transnistrie.
