Critical Mass is a group of Happy hardcore originating in the Netherlands which had its hour of glory in the middle of the Années 1990. Created by two artists Gabber, ED Boils and Dave Hasselaar, and then joined by the singer Ludmilla Odijk.
They are at the origin of the largest hits Happy hardcore, with Dancin' Together , Burnin' Coils , Believe In The Future but especially Happy Generation, true Anthem of the movement Happy . In spite of their success at the Netherlands, they are not able to be exported: their label, ID&T, are still a label underground little accustomed to the Marketing at that time.
The group then decides to change label and leaves in Belgium, to Byte Records and leave more centered titles Eurodance, of which In your eyes , which will have a success limited to the Europe of North. Disappointed, the members of the group return to the Gabber in 1999 and separate. In spite of the late success of I Your Eyes (remix of In your eyes , left in 2002) in Spain, the group was not reformed.
