Cristóbal de Sandoval
Cristóbal de Sandoval , duke of Uceda and one of wire of the Duke of Lerma which was during 20 years the validos (or improperly the favorite) of Philippe III of Spain.
In conflict with his father, it obtains disgrace in October 1618 and was named of it by Philippe III " favori". It tried to fight against the corruption which had then developed while in particular making stop Rodrigo Calderón, then symbol of a corrupted mode. but the death of the king Philippe III did not enable him to begin true in-depth reforms since it was then replaced by the Olivarès.
