Crisium pond

Mare Crisium (sea of the crises) is a lunar Mare located in the basin of the Crises, in the North-East of Mare Tranquillitatis. This basin goes back to the era of the Nectarien, while the material of the sea is of higher Imbrien. This sea lodges three notable craters: Picardy Yerkes, and Peirce while its South-eastern area is occupied by the Promonitorium Agarum, which resembles a course.

Lastly, Mare Anguis is a small sea, located very against Mare Crisium, in the North-East of this one.
