Crises
Crises is the title of the eighth album studio (appeared the May 27th 1983) of the British musician Mike Oldfield.
Crises fits in the vein of the albums that Mike Oldfield published as from 1979 and in the Eighties: those mix with the pop songs, the instrumental courts (often of inspiration folk or traditional) and with instrumental longer and complex.
Crises dissociates albums however immediately preceding it by its more pop character, perhaps an influence of the beater Simon Philips, which was strongly associated with the production of the album.
It has been characterized by the presence of the song Moonlight Shadow , tube of the year 1983 and traditional of the radios FM for more than twenty years.
The title of the album off derives from the title of table Sea Crises of Terry Ilott, order of Mike Oldfield for the small pocket of the disc.
