Criminal ordinance of 1670
The criminal Ordinance known as of 1670 (Made with Saint-Germain-in-Bush hammer in August 1670, recorded by the Parliament of Paris the August 26th 1670), is a Code of criminal procedure French coming into effect at January 1st 1671.
Wanted by Louis XIV, it is one of the first French texts beginning again of many procedure rules penal. It remains in strengths juqu' with its abrogation and its replacement in 1791 by the Code of the offenses and the sorrows.
