turning was held with Humboldt, Prescott and Tescott in Arizona, Bangor, Brewer and Dexter in the Maine, like in the Utah for the segments The Raft and Old Chief Wood' nhead .
George A. Romero not wishing to carry out this continuation, it passed the hand to Michael Gornick, operator chief with whom it had already worked on the first Creepshow , like Martin (1977), Zombie (1978), Knightriders (1981) or the Day of death-alive the (1985).
While one can see the actor David Holbrook in the segment Old Chief Wood' nhead , his/her father, Hal Holbrook, played in the segment The Crate of the first Creepshow .
Creepshow 2 was the first film of the actor Holt McCallany and the last of the actress Dorothy Lamour.
For the segment The Hitchhiker , the role of Annie Lansing (the roadhog in hit and run offense) was initially entrusted to the actress Barbara Eden, but this one had to leave the production during the first days of turning, and was thus replaced by Lois Chiles.
Four segments were envisaged at the beginning, but with an aim of reducing the duration of measuring, only three were turned.

Nomination at the price of the best supporting role female for Dorothy Lamour, by the Academy of horror and science fiction films, fantastic in 1988.
