Creek Tuff washed

Lava Creek Tuff is a made geological formation of Tuf S which appeared when of Yellowstone entered in eruption will caldeira it approximately 640.000 years ago from here.

The formation is positioned according to a circle around will caldeira and is made up of 1.000 km ³ of pyroclastic dust.

The Tuff then underwent an erosion on the level of the course of the river Gibbon . The colors of the volcanic remains vary light gray with the pale red. The layers have a thickness varying from 180 to 200 meters.
