Crazy Taxi

Crazy Taxi is a Video game of Sega left in arcade on Naomi in 1999 and on Dreamcast in 2000, then published thereafter on PC, PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

Gameplay

In Crazy Taxi , the player incarnates a taxi driver (among four available, each one having a clean Taxi and different characteristics in acceleration, speed, collisions…). He must, in a limited time, to bring customers to their destination by choosing the shortest routes. The stake consists in accumulating the possible maximum of profits. Indeed, in addition to the expenses of the race, the customer gives a Pourboire to each time the taxi carries out spectacular figures, like a jump, a skid or a cut in front.

In the version comforts, two modes of play are available (“ Arcade ” and “ Original ”), which correspond to two different cities (resembling both San Francisco). There exists also a mode “ Crazy Box ”, in which the player must take up a challenge or achieve various tasks in limited time (to explode of the balloons, to carry out a series of skids…). A secret option makes it possible to drive a bicycle-taxi.
