Crawley is a city of the county of the Sussex of the West to the the United Kingdom
General information
The population of Crawley is approximately 99.000 inhabitants. The city knew a strong demographic period of growth after the Second world war, when the Londoners fled the districts suds devastated by the Blitzkrieg. The city is prosperous and knows a low level of unemployment.
Crawley is a very recent city (only very a small portion of the downtown area belongs to the “old man” Crawley).

The city is strongly drawn by the influence from the airport from London Gatwick, which occupies all the Northern part of the city (in the North of Manor Royal)
Transport
Crawley has a rather dense network of bus, used by the Metrobus company. The FastWay project currently under development aims to the creation of new guided buses.
Crawley is connected to the highway M23 (London with Brighton). London is with less than thirty minutes.
