Crater of Mistastin
The crater of Mistastin is a meteoritic crater located at the Canada in the area of the Labrador, which contains the Lac circular Mistastin.
The central island of the lake, in form of growing, is due to the central rising of the structure of the crater.
The lake has an approximate diameter of 16 km, whereas the estimated diameter of the original crater is of 28 km. It is estimated that its age is of 36,4 million years to ± 4 million years (Pleistocene).
