Crater of Aorounga
The crater of Aorounga is a meteoritic crater located at the north of the Chad. Its diameter is of 12,6 km and one estimates that its age is of less 345 million years (Carboniferous). It is called now southern Aorounga , because two buried craters accompany it, revealed by the Radar SIR-C of the Space shuttle.
