Crasville-la-Mallet is a common French, located in the department of the Seine-Maritime and the area High-Normandy.

Geography

History

Crasvilla is quoted towards 1060. The church was given to the Abbaye Saint-Georges-with-Boscherville at the 11th century by Hugues de Guetteville. The suffix was borrowed from the Mallet family (of Graville), large lord in England and France, owner of the ground of Crasville at the 13th century. Before the Revolution, Crasville had a school of young clerks. 482 inhabitants at the 19th century, 397 in 1875 and 137 inhabitants currently.
