Personalities related to the commune

Leon NASSOY painter, born in 1874 in Saulnois. Leon Nassoy, wire of farmer révait as of his childhood only of drawings. Once known, it exposed in France and abroad, in particular in Switzerland and in London. In 1919 he assumed the load of professor of drawing, painting and modelling at the Vocational school of Metz and the museum of the city found in him a skilful restorer. He which dedicated a true worship with its province found death in Sion in 1937. Among his works one owes him " the harvest of apples of terre"
