Craig Thompson is a draftsman and American scenario writer of Cartoon born in 1975 with Traverse City, Michigan.

Its official biography mentions that it grew in the countryside (in the Wisconsin) by leading Tracteur S, packing hay, nourishing the Bétail, collecting the bay S and the roots of Ginseng, and breaking stones. Always according to this biography, he would have worked in a Mc Donald' S and in a store of do-it-yourself. He does not have a car, but an old man Vélo and a Skateboard decorated of a cranium.

He currently lives with Portland, in the Oregon.

Its first book “ Adieu Chunky Rice ” was worth to him in 1999 the Harvey Award of the best hope ( Best New Talent ). Its most known work is at present gigantic the Blankets , a “graphic Novell” of 600 pages which gained in the United States three Harvey Award, two Eisner Award ( Meilleur album - new material and Meilleur scenario writer/draftsman ) and in France the prestigious Prix of criticism decreed by ACBD.
