Craig Hartsburg
Craig William Hartsburg (born the June 29th 1959 with Stratford in the Ontario with the Canada) is a former professional player of Hockey. He is currently trainer in the league junior of the Ontario Hockey League as well as team of Canada junior.
Career in club
It begins its career junior in Ontario and in 1975 plays for the Greyhounds de Sault co. Marie of the Association of hockey of Ontario, today Ontario Hockey League . After three seasons within the junior team whose last in company of Wayne Gretzky, it decides to sign its first professional contract in the Worldwide association of hockey with bulldozers of Birmingham. In 1976-77, it gains the Trophée max Kaminsky better defender of the AHO.However, association closes its doors at the end of the season and it takes part in the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey. It is then selected like first choice of the North Stars of Minnesota of the LNH (6th choice on the whole) and at the time of its first match in the LNH in 1979, it carries out two assistances.
He plays all his career within North Stars and as of 1982 he becomes the captain about it. Problems of knee draw aside it from the skating rink at the time of the season 1983-84.
It takes its retirement of player at the conclusion of the season 1988-89.

- 1976-77 : Trophy max Kaminsky of the best defender of the AHO.
- 1982 to 1989: Captain of the North Stars of Minnesota.

Career of trainer
Following its career of player, he becomes assistant trainer of North Stars for one season then joined the following season the Flyers of Philadelphia as an assistant of Paul Holmgren. Whereas the trainers of Flyers follow one another (Bill Dineen then Terry Simpson), it remains in place with the frankness.In 1994-95, he becomes principal trainer of the Storm de Guelph of the OHL with which he gains the price of best the trainer of the Canadian Ligue of hockey then the following season that of the Blackhawks of Chicago of the LNH. He occupies this item three seasons and then joined the Mighty Ducks d' Anaheim for two seasons and half.
In 2001-02, it signs with its junior team for one season with the Greyhounds de Sault co. Marie and gains the Trophée Matt Leyden better trainer of the OHL before turning over assistant trainer of Flyers (he is then the assistant trainer of Ken Hitchcock).
Since 2004, it is turned over with Greyhounds and is also, since 2007, the trainer of the team of Canada junior at the time of the championship of the world. The team gains the gold medal and he sees himself confirmed in his mission in May 2007 for the following edition.

He represents the Canada at the time of the following competitions: ; Championship of the world junior- Bronze medal - 1978

- 4th place - 1987. He is then elected better defender of the tournament.
