Craig Fallon

Craig Fallon , born the December 18th 1982 is a British judoka which is illustrated in the lightest category of weight in seniors, that of the light welterweight (- 60 kg). It appears in 2001 by taking down the money medal at the time of the Euro junior. The following year, it gains its category at the time of the Jeux of the organized Commonwealth with Manchester. The year 2003 reveals it at the top of the hierarchy of its category: it gains the Tournoi of Paris and becomes successively vice-champion of Europe (beaten finally by Géorgien Nestor Khergiani) and vice-champion of the world (beaten by the South-Korean Min-Ho Choi). Its performances enable him to take part in the Olympic Games of Athens but it is beaten as of the second turn. Passed this against-performance, the British finally conquers the world title at the time of world Cairo by beating the Austrian Ludwig Paischer. He became on this occasion the third British judoka of the history to take down a world title. He conquers another victory of reputation the following year by obtaining the continental title. However, it cannot defend its world title the following year its federation not having selected it because of an insufficient preparation.
