Créthée

In the Greek Mythology, Créthée was the son of Éole (the son of Hellen) and of Énarété. Married to his/her niece, the nymph Tyro (girl of its brother Salmonée), he was the father of Éson, Phérès and Amythaon. It adopted also the two children whom his wife had had of Poséidon before her marriage, Nélée and Pélias. He was regarded as the founder of the city of Iolcos in Thessalie, the town of Jason and Pélias.
