Coyolxauhqui
Coyolxauhqui “That which is avoided of grelots” in Nahuatl, is the goddess of the the Moon at the Aztèques. Girl of Coatlicue, associated with the Moon, it was the warlike sister of Huitzilopochtli. It is said that it had drawn up stars against her mother by learning that this one was pregnant.

One day that pious Coatlicue was in prayer in a temple, a ball of feathers fell to him on the chest and some time later, his/her daughter realized that his/her mother was pregnant.Furious and believing in the dishonor of his/her mother, Coyolxauhqui pushed her brothers to decapitate their mother. At this point in time Huitzilopochtli was born, leaving very armed and painted in blue of the belly of his/her mother. It killed his sister, her brothers and all those which had plotted against his/her mother.
Archeology
A large carved circular stone, Coyolxauhqui representative dismembered, were found on the site of Templo Mayor of Tenochtitlán. It is exposed to the museum of the Templo Mayor.
