Cowlitz To rivet
The Cowlitz River is a River draining the State of Washington (the United States), it is an affluent of the Columbia. The source of Cowlitz is on the Mont Rainier.
The Area catchment of Cowlitz (4 017,6 km ²) are between the Chaîne of the Cascades, in the east of the Comté of Lewis, and the towns of Kelso and Longview. Without counting its affluents, the river reaches close to 170km in length.
Among the principal affluents one will note the Toutle River, covered by flow mud (Lahar S) during the eruption with the Holy Mont Helens gone back to 1980.
